Boer Meat Goats

Our first Boer goats were purchased in 1998, well before they became popular in the Northwest. With our primary emphasis on 4H and FFA Market goats, we have worked to bring in some of the top bloodlines in the country. Market animals from our farm have won Grand Champion at both the Wasco and Hood River County Fairs over the past several years. To compliment our Market Goat program, we also have fullblood and purebred Boers. Our primary herdsires come from some of the best Enobled lines in the US. Llamas

Like many llama breeders, we started on a very limited budget (never paying more than $1,500 for a llama) and have vastly improved our herd. For a small farm (20-25 llamas) our show record rivals that of many big ranches. We hand selected the parents of Cabernet's Pinot Blanc the 1999 National Grand Champion and are are now starting to show his offspring. He has consistently produced show winners and ALSA ROMs and Champions. In 2005, Cabernet Creek Farms produced the ALSA Western Regional Grand Champion Medium Wool Male, Heavy Wool Female and Non-breeder.

Pembroke Welsh Corgi's (Farm Dogs)

The Pembroke Welsh Corgi is known for their intilligence and are excellent companion dogs for families. They are playful but can also be protective of their owners. There is nothing they enjoy more than spending time with you be it going for walks or sleeping by your side while you read a good book. This is not the type of dog that is happy spending a lot of time alone. If you are looking for that perfect companion dog, this is what you will find in the Corgi.

Cabernet's Martina McMagic - Marty is a our fourth generation breeding, and is used on the farm to herd the llamas and goats. Careful selection has allowed us to develop a line of Corgis that are great family dogs and excel in agility and herding. She is the mother of my last 4 years worth of pups. She was spayed and placed with Pati Craven who is setting the world on fire in agility..

Cabernets Cowboy Brook's -- Brook's is the Corgi we have been breeding for - great looks, obedient, a fantastic herder and most of all the temperament to die for. His pups appear to have his same great temperament. Brooks has been Penn Hipped and ACVO tested.
