After looking hard and long for the perfect male with the right combination of bone, size, fiber quality and elegance I finally found one. Best of all this great male has as good of a rear as I have ever seen. He is out of the outstanding female line of Virginia Christensen and his sire is Amaru of Hinterland breeding. Virginia Christensen was nice enough to sell us her half interest in Spindrift and we now co-own him with Debby Ullrich. Spindrift has done outstanding in the showring and is an ALSA ROM. He was Reserve Grand at the 2007 ALSA Western Regionals and lacks only 1 more Grand Championship for his ALSA Halter Champion.
Showing in ALSA, he was named Grand Champion Medium Wool male at the Western Regionals and went on to obtain his ALSA Halter Championship. We continued showing him in ILR where he received another Halter Championship. His first babies were born in 2009 and have exceled in Halter, shorn fleece and fleece on competitions.
